Product features:
The volute of an Kaplan turbine is generally of a concrete casting type, and a steel volute is also used when the water head is high. The concrete volute is a snail cavity directly poured into the large-volume concrete in the underwater part of the plant. The section shape is generally "T" shape, and the section of the steel volute is circular. The runner chamber is divided into two parts, the middle ring and the lower ring.
The runner of an kaplan turbine includes a runner body and blades. The fixed paddle runner blade is fixed to the rotor body at a certain angle; the rotary paddle type is provided with a set of operation and transmission mechanism for rotating the blade in the rotor body. The wheel body has both cylindrical and spherical shapes. The number of runner blades is generally 4-6, and the small low-head turbines also use 3 blades. The axial-flow rotary turbine has dual adjustment performance, that is, the guide vane and the runner vane can be adjusted, while the fixed propeller can only adjust the guide vane. Therefore, the axial-flow propeller turbine can maintain the turbine's operational stability and high efficiency over a wide range of head and load variations, and thus is more widely used than the fixed-blade type.
