Tubular turbine is a horizontal axis turbine, that is, the water flow basically moves along the horizontal axis in the flow channel. It is mainly suitable for water heads of 3-25m, and is a special model for low-head, large-flow hydropower stations.

Company Information
The predecessor of Chengdu Forster Technology was founded in 1956,with 64years experience in hydro turbine sector.It was the former subordinate factory of the Chinese Ministry of Machinery, and the designated manufacturer of small hydraulic machinery. It was reformed in the 1990's.Forster started and expanded international market in 2013.
The Main capacity for a turbine is up to 6000KW. The main hydro turbines are kaplan turbine, tubular turbine, s-type tube turbine, Francis turbine, Turgo turbine , pelton turbine. Forster also provides electrical equipment for hydro power plants , such as governors, microcomputer integrated control screen and other equipments.
Forster turbines have different types, specifications and reliable quality with characteristics of reasonable structure, reliable operation, high efficiency, standardized parts ,convenient maintenance.
